ESD is situated on three campuses and is constantly on the develop. It currently has 248,000 feet square (23,000 m²) in facilities. The campus housing the very center and Upper Schools is found on Midway Road and spans more than 39 acres (160,000 m2). The very first building – the gymnasium – was carried out in the late 1970s. Nutrition-based curriculum continues to be integrated into the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, under the guidance with the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of Texas Southwest Hospital along with the newly formed ESD Nutrition Curriculum Committee.
